The following clubs are sponsored by PTA and organized by our wonderful parent and family volunteers. PTA offers these clubs at no cost to students. Students will be chosen by lottery if there is more interest than spaces available.
DRAMA CLUB |
Offered to 4th-5th grade students. Meet every Wednesday |
JR BOOK CLUB |
Offered to Kindergarten to 1st grade students. Meet every other Tuesday. |
GARDEN CLUB |
Offered to 2nd to 5th grade students. Meet every Friday. |
JR Garden Club |
Offered to 2nd to 5th grade students. Meet every other Friday. |
MINDFULLNES CLUB |
Offered to 1st to 5th grade students. Meet every other Wednesday. |
SEWING CLUB |
Offered to 3rd -5th grade students. Students will be split into Groups A and B and meet every other Wednesday |
TEACHER SPONSORED CLUBS
The following clubs are offered by specific teachers and run by the school. They often begin at
the start of the school year and continue through May. Flyers will go home announcing when sign up begins.
Art CLUB |
Offered to 4-5th grader students. This club is organized by the school's art teacher, Mrs. Cintron. Visit Mrs. Cintron's Art Class to register |
CHEer |
Meets October through May The CRE Cheer program is a competitive team open to incoming 2nd-5th graders. The program has two teams, JV and Varsity. The JV team meets once a week on Wednesdays and Varsity meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both teams travel throughout the state of Florida, competing in local, state and national competitions. Tryouts are at the end of the school year in April/May for the following school year. This club is organized by Mrs. Silva. |
FUTure educators of america (FEA) |
Offered to 5th grade students. Students are selected by teacher recommendations at the end of 4th grade. This club is organized by Mrs. Peters. |
Robotics Club |
Offered to 5th grade students. Students are selected by teacher recommendations at the end of 4th grade. This club is organized by Mrs. Johnson. |
Odyssey of the mind |
This club is organized by Mrs. Regalado and requires parent volunteer hours. |
wcre NEWS Team |
Offered to 5th grade students. Students are selected by teacher reccomendations at the end of 4th grade. This club is organized by the school's Media Center Specialist, Mrs Blanco. |
Youth Crime Watch |
Offered to 5th grade students. Students are selected by teacher reccomendations at the end of 4th grade. This club is organized by the school's Counselor, Mrs. Rencurrel. |
ACS ACTIVITIES AND CLUBS
These activities and clubs are offered through the school's After School Care team. Their office is located inside the main entrance to the right. Fees are per sport/activity and information on registration can be found......
Chess Club |
Offered to Kinder - 5th grade students. This club is organized by Capablanca Chess Academy |
Dade COunty Sports |
Offered to Kinder-5th grade students. Programs offered include soccer, tennis, pickleball, basketball, flag football, yoga and martial arts. See flyer below for details. Visit Dade County Sports |
Dance and HIP HOP |
Offered to 2nd-5th grade students. This club is organized by Dance a L Studio. |
KE ARTS FOR KIDS |
Art Club offered to Kindergarten-1st grade students. Sketch Club offered to 2nd-5th grade students. This club is organized by K.E Arts for Kids. |
LEGO CLub |
