Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I find out my child's reading level?

You can ask your teacher for your child's level or simply start with books that match your child's grade. Ex. 1.0-1.5 for 1st grade, 2.0-2.5 for 2nd grade, etc.

Q: How do I find what level a book is?

All books in the Coral Reef Library are labeled with the AR Level on the inside cover. The associated points can be found there as well. If you find a book in the regular library you can lookup the title on http://www.arbookfind.com to find the book's reading level. Please note – Not every book is an AR book!

Q: Where and when can we take quizzes?

Quizzes can be taken during school hours, either in the classroom (with approval from teacher) or in The Media Center. Sit down at any of the computers and double-click on the Renaissance icon in the Clever portal through Schoology.

You can either read the book in English or Spanish but not both.
